I can't remember if it was on this forum or another that gave me the idea, but another solution for the infamous magazine drop problem was the replace the M9 magazine release spring with a 1911 mag release spring. The 1911 spring is the same diameter, much more tension and longer than the M9's.

I had my Micro 9 CTLG out 3-4 times, it has about 300-400 rounds through it now and so far it has run flawlessly. Only failures at the this point have been slide lock failure on last round.
